When you have eyelash extensions,it best to apply eye gel (water based) than an eye cream. Eye creams are better suited to address dry, thin, skin but because it usually has a higher oil content, eye gels are better suited for eyelash extensions. Remember that when you close your eyes, the underside of the upper lashes get eye cream on them and can break down the eyelash adhesive and also can cause dust and skin particles to clump the lashes together. The best place to apply water based eye gels are just above the cheeks under the eye. With heat, the product will naturally migrate closer to the eye. Straight oils such as Vitamin E, coconut oil. olive oil, or any other oil is not recommended.
